King of Cavanon is the culmination of years of work and effort. This book stems from a dream I had back on 1999 and after all these years I finally decided to take the plunge and have the manuscript published. I dedicate this manuscript to all whose support and persistence pushed me to complete this work. Without them, this book would have never come about.
King of Cavanon is a story about a man and his family who vanishes out of their time/dimension and plunge forward 4,000 years into the future. They learn to live and survive in this new unknown world by some helpful aliens that aid them in their evasion of a sinister enemy, the Nogzakhs of the Dominion. It seems the enemy uses a time machine to import creatures from other past galaxies and use them as food. After escaping from the enemy, Rykus and his daughter find themselves living with an intriguing alien species, the Cavanonians. Together, Rykus becomes the figurehead over an ever-growing community of other aliens and humans seeking to escape from a determined enemy. The question is…will they survive through everything the enemy throws at them, or will they perish at the hands of a brutal and morbid alien enemy force? The story is filled with surprise twists and turns all along the way, giving the reader a sense of suspense and non-stop action.
I had too much material to fit into one book, so I had to put the conclusion of the story into a second manuscript, now available online entitled King of Cavanon - Blood of Heroes. The second book tells the continuing tale of the struggles of the King of Cavanon against the new leader of the Nogzakh Dominion, Federoth. The Dominion is now out seeking the sword of fire, which is the ruling crown of authority for the Cavanonian race. Both the Cavanonians and the Dominion will discover a prophecy yet to be fulfilled that has everything to do with the sword of fire and the return of a great evil. Federoth and his Nomaseri friend, Rudecor, are out searching together for the sword, while Nosrévis has a different agenda. Othragon, the former ruler of the Dominion, discovers another spirit residing in Nosrévis, the true form of his creator who is waiting to fulfill the prophecy and return to the physical realm. Once Nosrévis learns of this, his attitude takes on a whole new meaning.
The Cavanonians work to reorganize themselves despite the devastation of the war, which all but annihilated their species. Together on Cavanon, they soon find hope as the King returns bringing with him security and the promise of the rise of their species. The Cavanonians also meet some very different alien creatures that relate to them another prophecy yet to be fulfilled. In addition, the discovery of an abandoned time machine gives rise to the thought of saving countless numbers of humans from the brutal hands of the Dominion, and to aid in the return of a few others who suffered death at the hands of Nosrévis. A Great War will come that will change the fate of all creatures, one that will involve the Cavanonians, their allies, and the entire might of the Dominion war arsenal. With his new army of warriors, King Adoné seeks to destroy the might of the Dominion and the great evil before it can plague the galaxy with endless torment.
